Which One (Or Both)
Farmer's Delight and Pam's HarvestCraft 2 are the farming duo with complementary identities: Farmer's Delight is small and polished — rice/tomato/onion crops, a cutting-board cooking system and hearty stews; Pam's is vast — 1200+ foods and 60+ crops, the encyclopedia of eating. They coexist well: Pam's supplies ingredients, Farmer's Delight turns them into meals — the modern pack staple.
Farmer's Delight: Board & Pot
The cooking core is a two-piece: ① Cutting Board — right-click with a knife to slice tomatoes, dice onions, cut bread (prep work for recipes); ② Cooking Pot — add ingredients + a bowl, wait, and serve buff meals. Star dishes: vegetable soup (heal + saturation), hot dog (speed on the go), honey-glazed chicken (resistance). New crops: rice (plant at water edges), tomatoes (multi-harvest), onions, and wild forage from breaking grass.
Pam's: From Full to Healthy
Pam's shines with nutrition addons (Spice of Life family): eating varied foods grants permanent max-health bonuses (10 → 20 hearts), while repeating one food gives diminishing returns. Rhythm: early, grow 3-4 staples + fish for variety; mid, stock Pam's seed packs to expand; late, build a 'pantry warehouse' with 20+ sorted ingredients. All Pam's crops auto-harvest, setting up late-game food lines.
Automation Plans
Both mods automate: ① rice paddies run fully auto with water flow + harvester machines (Industrial Foregoing's plant gatherer); ② cutting boards and pots accept arm/hopper feeding — Create's mechanical arm is the perfect match; ③ Pam's crops plug straight into 'harvester + sorting storage' lines. The endgame is a central kitchen: conveyor in ingredients → prep → pot → auto-sorted food storage — with Create logistics, the game becomes restaurant management.
