1.6 Highlights
Create 1.6's biggest addition: steam power. New Steam Engine, Boiler, and steam pipes let players convert water + fuel into steam to drive large machinery. Also added 12 new mechanical arm actions, 3 new gear types, and a new train system component set (signals, switches).
Steam Power Explained
Steam power brings a second energy system alongside rotational power. Boilers burn fuel to heat water into steam, transported via pipes to steam engines which convert it to rotational force. High-pressure steam drives bigger machines — several times more powerful than wind/water wheels.
Compatibility & Download
Create 1.6 supports Minecraft 1.20.1 and 1.21 (Forge + Fabric). Updates preserve all existing machinery. Available on CurseForge, Modrinth, and mcmod.cn. The Chinese dev team released a synced Wiki update with a new steam power section.
