Project Progress
Block Artisans revealed the latest progress on their Suzhou garden project (Humble Administrator's Garden phase one): the core building Far Fragrance Hall's main structure is complete, with the Mountain-View Tower and Small Flying Rainbow bridge in mid-construction. The team says the hall's dougong brackets, flying eaves, and lattice windows are recreated to scale — the hall alone uses ~300,000 blocks.
Rockery Generator Released
The previously teased 'rockery generator' is now live and open-source. It algorithmically simulates Taihu rock's natural erosion textures — porous, hollow, slender, and wrinkled — generating diverse rockeries with one click. Community players have already produced many works with it; the team plans to package it as a standalone mod.
Watch & Co-Build
Construction streams live on the Bilibili 'Block Artisans' channel, with the documentary 'Rhythm of the Garden' now at episode 3. Community co-building remains open — players can sign up for modular subtasks like planting or tiling. Previous Forbidden City and Great Wall saves surpassed 5 million downloads; the Suzhou series could set a new record.
