Why Jungle Temples Matter
Jungle temples are the only natural structure you can 'loot for redstone': they come with 2 loaded dispensers, tripwire hooks, string, and redstone — all yours after disarming. Loot also includes diamonds, gold, enchanted books, bones (tame wolves) and bamboo. For redstone players short on dispensers early on, temples are a free supply drop.

Disarming the Traps
① scout the stairs for a hidden entrance (some temples hide an upper vault); ② on the 'two tripwire hooks + string' combo, cut the string with shears to disarm safely (breaking by hand/with blocks fires the dispensers); ③ the corridor dispensers hide behind mossy stone bricks — seal one block first or listen for arrows before breaking; ④ after opening every chest, check the walls for redstone — hidden chest variants exist. Seed #2 -777333's simple layout is perfect for a first run.
Jungle Bonus Content
Don't just temple-hop: ① pandas in bamboo groves drop bamboo — the fastest-growing fuel crop since 1.22; ② parrots tame with cookies and mimic mob sounds as free alarms; ③ cocoa beans grow on jungle logs for cakes and cookies; ④ temples often sit near swamps — grab lily pads and mycelium on the way. Jungle is one of the best mid-game resource biomes once you stack these together.
