Island survival is one of the most beloved challenge modes. Limited resources, ocean on all sides. A good island seed needs: moderate size, at least one tree, nearby shipwrecks/ocean ruins, cave systems underneath.

First 10 Minutes Checklist
① chop tree -> crafting table + wooden pick; ② mine cobble -> stone pick; ③ lava+water infinite cobblestone generator; ④ 2x2 infinite water source; ⑤ plant trees to grow a forest; ⑥ fishing/village trades for food. Core rule: never waste the first tree — saplings are your lifeline.
Expansion Route
With a cobble generator and stable water: ① kelp/sugar-cane farm for food & books; ② boat + fishing for enchanted books; ③ mine sand for sea-view glass; ④ dig down (islands usually sit above caves) for iron armor; ⑤ if possible, build a Nether portal to open a second resource line.
