Crafting Recipe

3 wheat (top) + 3 milk buckets (middle) + 2 sugar (bottom left+right) + 1 egg (bottom center) = 1 cake. Place and right-click to eat. 7 slices, each restores 2 hunger and 0.4 saturation. Cannot be picked up once placed.

Eating Rules

A cake must be placed before eating and can be sliced 14 times, restoring 2 hunger points each (28 total). Multiple players can share one cake, making it popular communal food on servers.

Cautions

Once placed a cake cannot be picked up again (breaking it returns nothing), so keep it at base rather than as travel food. Comparators read how much cake remains, enabling fun circuits like a food-storage display.
