Golden Carrot — Recipe & Uses

Crafting Recipe

8 gold nuggets in a ring around 1 carrot = 1 golden carrot. Nuggets come from un-crafting ingots (1:9) or zombified piglin drops — 9x cheaper than a golden apple.

Food Stats

6 hunger points + 14.4 saturation — the highest saturation of any food (golden apple: 9.6). Saturation is the hidden second hunger bar, so one golden carrot fuels a very long expedition. Beats stacking steak, every time.

Other Uses

The only main ingredient for night-vision potions; breeding food for horses and donkeys. Keep a stack in your hotbar-adjacent inventory for total expedition freedom.
