Crafting Recipe

4 gold ingots (top/bottom/left/right) + 1 redstone dust (center) = 1 clock. Shows sun/moon position in inventory. Place in item frames for wall clocks. Doesn't work in the Nether or End.

What It Shows

A clock displays the in-game day/night cycle: the dial points up at noon and down at midnight. Use it to time mining trips and avoid surfacing right at dusk into an ambush.

Limitations

In the Nether and the End the dial spins wildly (no day/night cycle) and is useless. Watching the sun and moon gives roughly the same information, so the clock is largely decorative.
