3 diamonds across the top + 1 diamond at each side of the middle row = 1 diamond helmet. A full set costs 24 diamonds (5+8+7+4).

Stats & Role

3 armor points + 2 armor toughness (diamond-exclusive, reducing high-damage falloff). 363 durability — more than double iron's 165. Upgrade to netherite at a smithing table with a template + ingot; enchants carry over.

Pro Tips

Diamond priority: pickaxe first (obsidian, more diamonds), then chestplate, then helmet. Helmet enchants: Protection IV, Respiration, Aqua Affinity, Thorns. Maintain it on the anvil with diamonds to preserve enchants.
