Crafting Recipe

7 cobblestone (all above bottom row except center) + 1 bow (center) + 1 redstone (bottom center) = 1 dispenser. Activates on redstone signal to shoot items: arrows, snowballs, potions, TNT, boats — each with different effects. Unlike droppers which just eject items.

Function

When powered, a dispenser fires one random item from its inventory — buckets place water, arrows are shot, TNT is lit and thrown. Unlike a dropper, a dispenser actually uses items rather than merely discarding them.

Typical Builds

Load arrows with a redstone clock for an auto turret; load buckets for remote water placement (clearing lava); load TNT for cannons; load fire charges for traps. Dispensers are the heart of automated farms and defences.
